Bruce Koenigsberg Bruce Koenigsberg Bass & Backup Vocals from Detroit, MI, the home of the Motown Sound and is the Founder and Business Manager of the Fabulous Roof Shakers – FRS. Bruce is one of Seattle’s premier blues bass players. Prior to forming FRS, Bruce was a co-founder of The JamDawgs, who hosted music jams in Kirkland and Issaquah, WA. Bruce is also a sought-after substitute for other bands needing an in-the-pocket bass player who can really spank the plank, such as locals like the Charles White Band and touring acts like the Big Moe Review, and Roger “Hurricane” Wilson. Bruce is also a member of the Washington and the South Sound Blues Societies. Bruce moved to Seattle in 1994 and started a Retail Consulting firm in the Consumer Electronics Arena and is now retired.

Muckleshoot Casino Ron Baker Baritone Sax & Backup Vocals from Burien, Ron is a newer member of the Fabulous Roof Shakers. A veteran saxophonist/percussionist, he has been active on the NW scene for over 20 years and is known for his professionalism, enthusiasm, excellent tone, musicality and a great ear that result in him being a popular side man, session player and performer. He has extensively toured clubs and casinos in the Western U.S. and is now enjoying his role in Seattle’s Fabulous Roof Shakers!
Conrad Ormsby Steve Sarkowsky Drums a Seattle native, Steve is a graduate of the UW and was a member of the Jazz Workshop for three years. He has been playing drums since the 2nd grade. A veteran of pop, folk, country, classic rock and blues bands, he was nominated multiple times for best blues drummer by the Washington Blues Society (WBS). He was the founder of the award-winning Highway 99 Blues Club and a recipient of the Keeping the Blues Alive honor from the Blues Foundation as well as the WBS. He was a co-founder of both the Robbie Laws Bigger Blues Band and the Hot Wired Rhythm Band both of which were awarded Best Band honors by the WBS. He is also a member of Big Road Blues a 6-piece classic soul and R & B band. You can also find him doing shows with the Highway 99 All Stars; a revolving cast of local and regional musicians that were a regular feature both at the club and at festivals. He has performed at regional and local festivals over the years as well as most local music venues. Dedicated to the foundation of the band and the pocket of the groove!
Joe Blue Joe Blue Lead Vocals & Harmonica from Queens, NY, front man extraordinaire is a former Capitol Records recording artist and has performed with such blues greats as John Lee Hooker, Marsha Ball, Steve Bassett, Roomful of Blues, and Ronnie Earl. Joe toured Europe with the King Biscuit Blues Band, and played up and down the East Coast with Nine Below Zero, the Aces, and the Nightown Ready Blues Band. He’s opened for Fleetwood Mac, Freddy King, the Fabulous Thunderbirds, Junior Walker and the All-Stars, and Sam & Dave. Previously, Joe was a member of the Hot Rod Holman Blues Review.
Seattle Blues Club Paul Sommer Guitar from Palo Alto and studied music and recording at SF State University, and then managed Gelb Music in Redwood City. One of Paul’s first bands in the Bay Area was 11-piece Blue Mountain, featuring 3 singers and a 4-piece horn section, which opened for Tower of Power, Cold Blood, Steve Miller and the Sons of Champlin. With the Gary Smith Blues Band, Paul backed up Big Mama Thorton for a week-long gig. Another 11-piece band, the Hayden Project, played the Great American Music Hall in SF and the Whiskey a Go Go in LA. After moving to Seattle to be the Area Representative for Peavey, Paul played the Pioneer Square circuit with Blue Collar, before taking a break to raise a family.
